Microsoft Office is an office suite of applications and services first released by Microsoft back in 1988. Today there are two different purchasing options, Office 365 and Office 2019. Office 365 is subscription based, where you pay a fee, either monthly or annually and get upgrades as they are released. Office 2019 requires you to pay a one-off fee, which doesn’t include any upgrades, except for the usual updates from Microsoft, such as bug fixes and security updates.
