Yamaha
The Yamaha Corporation, originally named Nippon Gakki Co., Ltd, was founded in 1887, by Torakusu Yamaha, when he built his first reed organ. As well as musical instruments, it also makes audio equipment, and has a subsidiary, Yamaha Motors, involved in the production of motor bikes.
Today, Yamaha Corporation is said to be the world’s largest digital and acoustic piano manufacturer.
