PRS

Paul Reed Smith Guitars, or PRS Guitars for short, was founded back in 1985 by guitarist and master luthier Paul Reed Smith. The PRS headquarters are in Stevensville, Maryland, USA, with production facilities both in the US and Asia. As well as making both acoustic and electric guitars, they also produce, base guitars, amplifiers and other guitar accessories.

PRS has a reputation for manufacturing high end guitars, particularly their custom shop instruments, but also cater for the lower end of the market with their 'SE' and 'S2' lines.
